OC Zeta Fall 2024 Finer Womanhood Scholarship Application
The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Finer Womanhood Scholarship provides support for deserving UCI women who exemplify the founding principles of the Sorority: Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.
The scholarship is to be used for college expenses (i.e. books, supplies, fees, etc).

2024-2025 Digital Archive Student Ambassador program
Program Term: October 2024 – April 2025
Program Salary: $15/hour
Application Deadline: Friday, October 11, 2024
Eligibility:
- You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student and able to commit to 10 hours per week from October 2024 through April 2025 (no meetings in August 2024 and during holidays). You will be expected to document your hours, submit weekly progress reports, and participate in weekly conference calls;
- Your college or university must subscribe to The HistoryMakers Digital Archive. For a complete list of subscribing institutions, see here: (https://www.thehistorymakers.org/institutional-maker);
- You must commit to participating in weekly Zoom calls during the school year;
- You must spend at least five hours per week doing in-depth exploration of The HistoryMakers Digital Archive;
- You must write a weekly blog post based on research using The HistoryMakers Digital Archive;
- You must develop in-person and video/Zoom presentations and programs to show faculty, students, and others how to use The HistoryMakers Digital Archive;
- You must adhere to the Student Ambassador code of ethics.

UCI Program in Public Health
Participate in a study to improve the university experiences of Black and Latinx students
Help UCI researchers identify ways to improve the university experiences of Black and Latinx students. Participants will be asked to share their experiences with state power such as policing, state-sanctioned violence, laws and policies, anti-blackness, and anti-immigrant sentiment in a two-hour art-making focus group. You will receive $40 for your time.
To be eligible you must be:
- Age 18 or over
- Attending UC Irvine as a returning student (this is not your first year)
- Identify as Black (African-American or Afro-Latino) or identify as Latino/Hispanic
