Lending Library Check-In & Check-Out Instructions

If you would like to check out or check in one of our books, please do the following:

  • Come into the center and pick a book
  • Scan the Lending Library QR Code & follow the instructions to fill out the form
  • Once you have completed the form, find a Pro-staff or student staff to sign-of

ALL BOOKS ARE DUE TWO WEEKS FROM THE CHECK-OUT DATE!!!


UCI Campus Assault Resources & Education (CARE) Office Lending Library

The CARE Office houses a healing library of books, films, resource guides, fact sheets, and other tools that are available for checkout by members of the UCI community. A list of some books by Black authors that are available to check out is below.

The CARE Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (except for University holidays), and is located on the 3rd floor of the UCI Student Center in suite G320 (Maps and directions). We are located above the Student Center Terrace, across from the ATMs. Come in during business hours to check out any books. If you have any questions, call 949-824-7273 or email care@uci.edu.
